Jumping to the Next Stone - Part 1

I'm not sure how to title this little series that is going to chronicle my impending journey.
I think if I blog once or twice a week, people can stay up to date with my progress and the major happenings in my life.
Over the next few months I will be preparing, packing, searching and making those big changes that one sometimes does in life. There is much to ponder every day but I ponder the same three or four things on my list that is titled, "Moving".
But it's not just house, or changing jobs, relocating to another town, it is all of those things and more.
A dear friend in Te Puke has just completed the above list but she didn't move quite as far as I will be when relocating.
So just to clarify, I am moving to Waiheke Island.
Yes my big son lives there and yes, I will see my little grandson more often but mostly it is time for "A CHANGE".
So I have handed in my notice at my job and this week it shall be advertised.
I have told my Mum that we are moving to Waiheke and she is selling the family home/orchard.
This was huge for all of us and will no doubt send gasps through our tight-knit community.
I have started packing our belongings and thrown out mountains of un-belongings.
This move continues to be exciting every day but this morning I was thinking that all the pieces are still hanging in the air.
There are not all that many and if I just consult my list, there are five or six pieces hanging in the air that all need to fall into the puzzle frame or "my life, journey, purpose, plan, destination," all of those synonyms but in my heart I believe that they will all fall into what I would see as the next "Step".
If you imagine in your mind a dog paw, it has the big pad in the middle and the little toes around the edge.
The big pad is me and God. The toes are the pieces that must fall, almost simultaneously into place so that we can walk, so we can take our steps, so that we can arrive on the next stone. One of those toes is actually "my dogs".
Funnily enough, Waiheke is often nicknamed "the Rock".
Big stone, big step, big God and Me.

Psalm 37:23

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.
All his course of life is graciously ordained, and in lovingkindness all is fixed, settled, and maintained. No reckless fate, no fickle chance rules us; our every step is the subject of divine decree.
He (God)delighteth in his(my) way.
All that concerns a saint is interesting to his heavenly Father.
God loves to view the holy strivings of a soul pressing forward to the skies.
